Able Living – Hire Terms & Conditions 2026 

By using Able Living services and products, the hirer agrees to these Terms and Conditions. Able Living reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendment is effective immediately.  

  • Minimum hire period is 2 x weeks. 
  • A refundable deposit of 4 x weeks hire is required for each individual hire item.  
  • If the equipment is not returned by the pre-determined completion date, hire fees will continue to accrue until a formal cancellation is received, or the goods are returned.  
  • Delivery/collection fees will be charged based on the location within Victoria, and the size of the equipment. 
  • Payment is required at the start of each hire period. Full payment must be received by the completion of the hire.  
  • Accepted payment methods are: credit card, in-store payment or bank transfers. 
  • The hirer assumes liability for any personal injuries or property damage arising from the use of the equipment.  
  • Picking up electrical equipment, from an Able Living location will require a valid photo ID to be presented and scanned. Eg. Lift Recliner Chairs, Hospital Beds, Mobility Scooters and Power Chairs. This information will not be shared with any third party organisations.  

Hire to Purchase Option
All hire equipment is available for purchase. Please contact one of our team to discuss this option in relation to items which you currently have out on hire.
